Episode Ten (10) – “Bloody Cock”

“I told you not to bring her back, she’s not safe here. I don’t want what happened to that woman’s son to happen to anyone- you need to take her back” My Dad said.

Did I hear them talk about sending me back to grandma’s place. No way!!! No way!!! I am not going anywhere, I am not leaving my Kobby. I have to be with him.

My heart began beating fast, I was wild, everything around me began turning in circles. I felt my body vibrating in anger.

That is it. I am always out of control when i am angry. Then that annoying cock started crowing again. This time around it was so loud. And I hated it. I wanted to kill it.

I went straight to the kitchen, took a knife and went straight outside. There it was, still crowing. It wasn’t easy to catch. I caught it by the leg and cut its head off completely.

The Knife, my hands and body was messed up with the cock’s blood. This caught the attention of my parents that they came rushing out to me.

They were surprised to see me in the cocks blood while it laid on the floor twitching slowing into death.

That didn’t give me satisfaction. I was wild. My mum and dad feared to come close to me. They saw rage in my eyes and thought I will hurt them.

I don’t know what came over me, I began to scream so loud and began tearing my dress apart. Somehow, I dropped the knife. That was the only moment my dad could have the courage to come rushing towards me and grab hold of me.

“Let me go, let me go. Leave me alone, leave me alone” I screamed. I was half naked by then. I don’t know where my mum got the rope, I saw her coming with it and then they began to tie me up.

I felt helpless. I screamed the more.

“Kobby Kobby” I began calling out to the love of my life. I couldn’t believe my parents were hurting me.

That moment I hated them. I wanted to kill them like I killed the cock.

“I’ll kill you all” I screamed. At this point my feet and hand had been tied together. I hardly could move.

I was helpless. I knew if Kobby was here, he would have saved me.

Then I called out to him again. “Kobby. Kobby, Kobby”

On the third call. I saw Kobby on our compound starring at me in tears. He didn’t make a move, he was just crying.

What is wrong with my Kobby. I was so concerned about him than me.

“Kobby don’t cry, I’ll be fine” I said. Then suddenly I felt something had been pricked into my body.

It was my dad, he had injected me. That was it. I didn’t see anything anymore.

To be Continued.
