Episode Seven (7)- “Dark Vacuum”

I opened it and took a bottle of water out of the fridge to give to Kobby. However, just when I turned around to hand over the water to him, he was no where to be found.

I checked the window. It was completely shut. How did he get out this time? Well, that wasn’t my bother. I jumped into bed thinking of how disastrous this birthday of my one true love had turned out to be.

Lost in deep thought, I fell asleep.

It’s was dark. Entirely dark. This darkness was awkward. It’s a different darkness that seem not to end.

I could hardly see myself. The only way I could feel my whole presence was when I touched myself.

I didn’t know where I was. It was like a vacuum. Soon I began to realize that this was something out of the ordinary. Then I got frightened.

Suddenly I heard my mum’s voice calling out to me in an echo.

“Lust, Lust” she called out. Then again I heard my Daddy calling out to me too. Their voices came from different direction but I couldn’t see them.

“Mum, Daddy…. Where are you” I called the out but they didn’t hear me. All this while they kept calling me. It’s like I have been lost.

Soon, someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me. It was a child. A boy I believed was about 6 to 8 years old.

I tried to free my hands from him. But I couldn’t. It amazed how a boy of that age will have that strength of an adult.

“Stop fighting” He said in a tiny child tone. “Follow me, I know where your parents are.”

Somehow I felt I wasn’t even safe with the boy but I kept following him anyway. He was still dragging me by my wrist.

Then I heard my parents call out to me again.

“Lust don’t go, you are safe with us. Don’t go with him”

As I heard this I began struggling with the little boy so I can free myself from his grip but he had held me so hard and firm.

Just then, I noticed somehow that, the little boy that I had seen earlier on was now Kobby.

Then suddenly I stopped. It’s My Kobby.

“Kobby” I called out to him. Then he let go of my wrist and looked straight into my eyes.

“You don’t belong here.” He said “Tell my mum, I want to sleep. I need water”

Then his voice kept echoing everywhere and was so loud.

“I want to sleep, I need water” it kept repeating itself over and over again then I began to feel it in my ear drums as it began to hurt.

I covered my ears but that even made things worse.

“I need to sleep. I need water” it kept on repeating itself.

“Kobby stop stop stop stop” I called out. Then suddenly I woke up. It was relief to see that I was dreaming.
